Meet Dr. Fine

Norman B. Fine, DMD, MDS

Dr. Fine is a native of South Carolina, being born and raised in Charleston. He attended Charleston Southern University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology and was on the Academic Dean’s list. He received his dental degree in 2008 from MUSC College of Dental Medicine, where he excelled and was the proud recipient of several scholarships for academic achievement as well as ethical and moral character. Dr. Fine continued his education with an additional three years at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s Periodontology program for advanced training in the fields of periodontics, dental implants, and hard and soft tissue regeneration.

Dr. Fine leads a local study club of some of the best general dentists in Greenville, and he is also a board-certified periodontist. He has lectured at various universities, including our own Greenville Technical College’s hygiene and dental assisting programs.

Dr. Fine is a highly motivated, outgoing, enthusiastic practitioner who is caring, compassionate, and competent. He is one who listens to his patients’ concerns and addresses their chief complaints in a timely and efficient manner.

Dr. Fine and his team look forward to meeting you and providing you with the best oral health care in a comfortable and safe environment. Some of the memberships our periodontist is part of include: the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, International Team of Implantology, Academy of Osseointegration, South Carolina Society of Periodontists (Treasurer, past President), Greenville Dental Society, Southern Academy of Periodontology.

As a dedicated husband and father, Dr. Fine has many interests outside of periodontics and dental implants. He enjoys spending time with his wife Amy and their son, Preston. They have four dogs, Abby, a Jack Russell Terrier, Kristie, a Border Collie mix, and Autumn and Ruby, White Labs. Dr. Fine also enjoys saltwater reef aquariums and going scuba diving, boating, etc.

MEET DR. MICHELOTTI

Anthony J. Michelotti, DMD

Dr. Michelotti earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Business from the University of Florida. He then continued his education at the University of Florida Dental College and earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine. After receiving his DMD, Dr. Michelotti moved to Augusta Georgia to attend the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University for residency in Periodontics where he graduated as Chief Resident.

Dr. Michelotti’s passion for periodontics began when he worked with gum cells during his undergraduate research days. For the past 8 years he devoted his career to understanding the science of periodontics and how he can use his skills and training to provide care for his patients. Some of Dr. Michelotti’s favorite procedures include gum grafts, dental implants, bone grafting, sinus augmentation and extractions. Dr. Michelotti understands the emotions and anxieties that visiting a dentist can elicit and he strives to make every patient feel comfortable before, during, and after every visit.

A mentor of Dr. Michelotti’s once said, “If that was your mother in the chair, what would you do for them?” This is something that Dr. Michelotti thinks about for every single patient. He understands how important a patient’s smile and oral health is to their overall well-being and will strive each day to get the desired outcome you want.

In his free time, Dr. Michelotti enjoys spending time with his Fiancée and their two dogs, golfing, playing soccer, and hiking.

Lisa has been with Fine Periodontics since 2018.
Lisa truly loves her Fine Periodontics team and helping care for our patients and their needs. Lisa and her husband, Brian, have 7 children and 1 grandchild. When Lisa isn’t working she enjoys being on the lake with her family and spending time with her sweet pup, Max.

PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIP COORDINATOR
Sloan began working for Fine Periodontics in the beginning of 2020 and has been in the dental field for over 8 years. Her favorite part of our practice is seeing Dr. Fine and the staff go out of their way to provide the best possible care for our patients. When she isn’t at the office, you can typically find her at Clemson Football games and soaking up every moment with her husband and two daughters.

Stephanie has been with Fine Periodontics since 2019 and has over 15 years of experience in the dental field. She is one of the first smiling faces you will see when you visit our office. One of her favorite things about working at Fine Periodontics is meeting and developing relationships with our patients! Outside of the office, Stephanie likes to go camping and spending time with her family.

Insurance Coordinator
Kerri is our go-to-girl at Fine Periodontics. She became a team member of this practice in 2002 and has been in the dental field for over 20 years. Kerri works remotely doing all the behind the scene tasks. When she is not working she enjoys, traveling, going to the beach, hanging out at the lake and watching true crime shows.

Surgical Assistant
Stacy has been with Fine Periodontics since 2014 as a dental assistant with over 15 years of experience. She is CPR, X-ray, and nitrous oxide certified. She loves working with people, helping our patients, making them feel comfortable, and educating them about oral health. Stacy and her husband have one daughter, and they enjoy boating and traveling.

Surgical Assistant
Bre joined the team in 2023 as a dental assistant. She has experience with dental administration as well as assisting. Bre enjoys meeting new people and spending time with her cat Sophie. In her spare time Bre enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Christina is brand new to South Carolina! She comes with 20+ years of experience in dental hygiene in Wyoming and Washington State. She enjoys doing her very best for each patient to care for their unique needs. If she’s not at the office, she’s busy chasing kids (she has 5!), or spending time with her husband, Cody. When she has some spare time, she enjoys hiking, drinking coffee, and crocheting.

Amy helps our office run smoothly by taking care of our team members’ and patients’ needs. What she loves most about Fine Periodontics is how our team treats patients with friendliness and quality care. Amy is married to our periodontist and together they have one son and five fur babies. She enjoys decorating, spending time with her family, the beach, and traveling.
